Traveling from Kyoto to join Matsue, to enjoy the baths of Tamatsukuri Onsens district, before making the opposite way to Tokyo... is it reasonable?
Difficult to answer but when we did, we return with the heart filled with some Japanese country air that we want to discover more in a later trip ...
A word of advice, stay a short time to visit the castle and the historic center, as the relaxing in hot baths do not help to get on its way back, after a day's train.

Partir de Kyoto pour rejoindre Matsue, et profiter des bains du quartier Tamatsukuri Onsens, avant de faire chemin inverse vers Tokyo, est-ce bien raisonnable ?

Un conseil, restez un minimum de temps pour visiter le château et le centre historique, car les bains chauds relaxants n'aident pas à se remettre en route après une journée de train.

Obviously, no cameras in the onsens, so i can only post illustrative pictures of feet onsens ... some are particularly hot, at least for the tourist not used to the heat. But some will observe, without understanding, the locals entering the feet in the water quietly, and at the first attempt...
Évidemment, pas d'appareil photos dans les onsens, du coup on se contentera de photos illustratives de onsens de pieds... certains sont particulièrement chauds, du moins pour le touriste non habitué, car on observera sans comprendre les japonais y entrer tranquillement, et du premier coup...
